Willie Hepburn has been building since 1998, establishing Hepburn Builders with his wife Emma Hepburn in 2007. They have a passionate team of enthusiastic qualified carpenters and apprentice carpenters whom are dedicated and committed to the building and construction profession. Willie personally oversees and manages all aspects of their projects, and prides himself on attention to detail.

Proud History

Hepburn Builders is proudly Wairarapa based, and has been since 2007. Willie and Emma Hepburn and their team are committed to delivering a quality product and service, built on strong relationships, with a personal connection.

Born and bred in Wairarapa, Willie studied architectural drafting after he left school, before deciding that instead, building was his passion. He then completed his three year apprenticeship locally. This was followed by working for a well known movie director – both on his homestead and on movie sets. The extensive projects involved concepting visually creative ideas and executing these.

Hepburn Builders has grown from Willie, to a team of five talented builders. Willie now focuses on his team and the project management of each project whilst Emma successfully operates the business administration. Having a dedicated project manager ensures decisions are made efficiently, allowing a streamlined building process.

Whether it’s bringing an old home back to life, or an architecturally designed new home, Hepburn Builders relish the unique challenges represented. They pride themselves on honesty, integrity, approachability and effective communication, always available for their client's.
